Into and out through the window, installation, 2006
Pink plastic string textile which resembles a large insect on top of the roof of a glass corridor, leading to a cardboard box sculpture inside the corridor, on the boxes I printed all kinds of organic elements, sense organs and figures. The figure Flófríður, is a femin flee and she is the representative of a kingdom. Another work closely related to this work is a table with small tin plates and copparplates with etchings. I wanted to create a world of its own, and use the conventional etching technique along with plastic textiles to create a strange time feeling for the work from the observer's point of view. The name of the work Into and out through the window comes from a name of game I used to play when I was a child.
